OUR MISSION IN NATIONAL SECURITY

Mantel Technologies is dedicated to delivering capability discriminators to Users in the National Security sector. We emphasize responding to National Security needs first, while also exploring dual-use opportunities to broaden our impact.

OUR AREAS OF FOCUS

  • We support working dogs and their human teammates through products and services that support advances in medical, performance and tactical capabilities. Products under development include shelf-stable canine blood products for pre-hospital/trauma care; wearables and implants for physiological monitoring and canine performance; equipment to support quality of life, safety and survivability; and tools to support advanced command and control between handlers and their dogs.

  • We provide technology solutions to support human performance, safety and survivability during training, readiness and recovery in complex mission environments. Products under development include neuromodulation for alertness, cold weather survivability and performance, wearable sensors and decision support on the edge to enhance data integration and decision support at the warfighter.

  • We partner with our sponsors to achieve computational, analytical and organizational stretch goals. To achieve this, we leverage decades of industry experience and state of the art machine learning techniques to systematically achieve streamlined processes and high efficiency data analytics. In addition to these technological and process-oriented offerings, we have developed, tested and launched multiple student outreach events to drive workforce development change, directly impacting the speed and alignment and quality of candidates for the USG and Defense Industrial Base future workforce.

  • We focus on application of advanced materials, novel system configurations and embedded systems to enable advanced capabilities and improved performance of mission systems. Products under development include thermal management systems for comfort and survivability; enhanced system efficiency to power next generation technologies; and domestic low volume manufacturing and rapid prototyping.

A FLEXIBLE APPROACH

Many of the skills, technology discriminators and best practices Mantel has honed through its support of National Security missions are adaptable and extensible to support adjacent markets and needs. Alignment of our research portfolio to our capability and product roadmaps yields intellectual property well-suited for practical application and product endpoints.
